Solway Lass is a famous square-rigged tall ship with 115 years of history, sailing in both the 1st and 2nd World Wars.
Cruises of the Whitsundays are leisurely paced and include time to snorkel or dive the coral reefs which extend from the islands, take coral viewing excursions in the glass bottom boat, bushwalk to lookouts and visit the magnificent Whitehaven Beach. Guests are welcome to join in and help set the massive sails or just enjoy the sailing from a bygone era. While at anchor, try out the Tarzan rope swing, a unique way to enter the water, relax out in the bow net or enjoy a cold beer, cocktail or wine from the licenced bar.

Depart the marina at 7.30pm and sail to our overnight anchorage. Light supper is served around 9.30pm.
After Breakfast, we make our way to Tongue Bay for a guided bush walk to the Hill Inlet Lookout, a spectacular lookout overlooking Whitehaven Beach. Back on board Solway Lass enjoy lunch before heading around to Whitehaven Beach. Enjoy an hour on the beach before setting sail and heading north along the eastern side of Hook Island. Overnight anchor in one of the many bays on Hook Island.
After breakfast it’s the final splash at another new snorkel site. It’s your last chance to see the amazing under After Breakfast enjoy snorkelling and/or an optional scuba dive on the fringing coral reefs which extend right from the edge of the islands. Enjoy lunch, before sailing off to another anchorage for a second snorkel, swim or simply relax at the beach. This evening will be spent anchored in Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island or in the Langford Reef Area. Both locations offer spectacular sunset photo opportunities as the Solway Lass is silhouetted against the sunset over the water.
After Breakfast enjoy snorkelling, swimming or relaxing on the beach before lunch. At around 1:00pm set sail and sail across the Whitsunday Passage arriving back to the marina around 4.00pm.
