The boat will glide up on to the sand and the crew will lower the front boarding ladder so that you can climb down and make your way across the yellow sand beach to the breathtaking resort that is waiting for your exclusive use.
The staff will have an afternoon antipasto platter waiting and some comfy bean bags to sit back in while the crew explain the ins and outs of resort life.
After a tour of the breathtaking grounds you will be shown to your room and told to enjoy the next few hours before you hear the dinner bell ring. These few hours can be filled however you like. Play pool, tennis, paddleboard, kayak, kick the footy, hit the swimming pool or simply relax in a hammock.
Dinner on the first night is fish on a bed of mash potato and coleslaw followed by a warm strudel with custard for dessert.
After dinner the crew will light the fire down on the beach and you can try your hand at roasting some marshmallows, before eventually heading back to your room and falling asleep to the sounds of nature in the most comfortable bed you have been in for a long time.
Wake up and head down to the main house for a continental breakfast and fruit salad before packing your kit for the day in your supplied dry bag and heading off on a Whitsunday Adventure!
First stop is Whitehaven Beach and the amazing Hill Inlet Lookout. Once you have had your fill of the view you can head down to the sands themselves to do some exploring, make sure to look in the shallows for baby sharks and stingrays! A couple of hours soaking up the sun on the beach should have you ready for the lunch the boys will have waiting for you back on the boat. A great selection of cold cut meats, pasta dishes and salads to fuel you up for the afternoon.
Another quick boat ride will see you arriving at the renowned Mantaray Bay for an exciting snorkel amongst 100s of colourful fish! You even get to meet the famous Maori Wrasse ‘George’!!
By now you will be ready to wind down, so the crew will speed you back o Paradise Bay and your afternoon snack of nachos on the front porch of the main house.
The hot spa and pool will be waiting to help you relax after your big day while the crew prepare dinner. Tonight you will have a delicious home cooked chicken curry with rice and yum cha before a dessert of ice cream in cones!
After dinner it’s usually a mix of people chilling on the couches in the main house or heading back up to the pool and spa to continue mingling. There is nothing quite like sitting back in the spa and looking up at the night sky full of stars.
Once again its down for a yummy breakfast before heading off on another adventure. The boat will pick you up at the beach again before a refreshing morning race with the wind in your hair across the Whitsunday passage to Langford Sandbar.
Here the boat will deposit you on the beach so you can enjoy a few hours of snorkelling with the resident turtles, or chillaxing on the beach. Soaking up your last bit of sun and enjoying morning tea.
The ride home takes about 45 minutes, allowing you time to stare out across the islands and reflect on the last couple of day’s amazing adventures.
