Hammer is 80ft long with a single mast that is 100 feet high. Hammer is famous in blue water racing circles, in particular for 5 consecutive placings in the Sydney to Hobart Ocean Race.

Hammer is a comfortable sailing yacht which has been custom fitted out for Whitsunday charters. It has modern interior wall panels, timber trim and a large lounge area to chill.. Accommodation is open plan, with single bunks and double berths available. This yacht is wide and safe and was built to race in ocean races, so sailing the calm waters of the Whitsundays is a real joy.

This tour is ideal for guests who are short on time. Hammer includes a visit to the magnificent Whitehaven Beach, walk to famous Hill Inlet Lookout and experience snorkelling stops on the fringing coral reefs which extend right from the edge of the Islands.

An optional introductory or certified scuba dive is available when you meet with the rendezvous dive boat, Tornado Dive.

This itinerary will cover around 90kms around the islands and is achieved in 2 days and 1 night. The sailing performance and ability of your maxi yacht means you can sail faster than other charter yachts can go.  Not only will you visit the famous Whitehaven Beach, but you will also get to the northern end of the Whitsundays, where the best fringing coral reefs in the Whitsundays are found around Hayman Island, Langford Reef and Mantaray Bay.

For guests who want to be involved, help the crew set the sails, have a turn on the wheel, and get some amazing sailing photos.

The captain and crew will provide you with plenty of information on the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and you will arrive back to the marina at 4:00pm on the second day with a better appreciation of the Whitsunday Islands.
