Cairns Dive Centre has overnight dive and snorkel trips departing daily to the Outer Great Barrier Reef.
Using state of the art diving equipment on their comfortable liveaboard vessel, M.V. Kangaroo Explorer, you can explore some of the best dive and snorkel sites the Outer Great Barrier Reef has to offer.
Their experienced Reef Team will help you see a vast array of hard and soft corals, great drop-offs, exciting walls and swim-throughs and all the normal marine life their sites have to offer.
You can also experience the unbelievable thrill of Night Diving on the Great Barrier Reef (Certified divers only)
Cairns Dive Centre visit a variety of the best reef sites available, just two hours out from Cairns. These sites include Moore, Millin, Briggs, Elford and Thetford reefs.
6.45 am – Free pick-up from city accommodation
7.30 am – transfer to the outer reef via Fitzroy Island
9.45 am – Arrival at the reef
11.00 am – Lunch
12.30 pm – 1st snorkel and dive session
2.30 pm – Transfer to next snorkel and dive site
4.00 pm – 2nd snorkel and dive session
6.00 pm – Dinner
7:00 pm – Night Dive (certified divers only)
5.30 am – Wake-up call
6.00 am – First snorkel and dive session of the day
7.00 am – Breakfast
7.30 am – Transfer to next snorkel and dive site
8.00 am – Second snorkel and Dive session
11.00 am – Final snorkel and Dive session
12.00 pm – Lunch
2.45 pm – Depart for Cairns on M.V. Sunkist via Fitzroy Island
